Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Tech for the Evening shift at Highland Park Hospital to support emergency department operations and patient care.

The role involves chart review, patient transport, and collaboration with the care team. Eligible candidates should have CNA training (preferred), current BLS, and strong interpersonal and computer skills to deliver safe, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the US.
• CNA training preferred.
• One nursing clinical rotation preferred.
• Current BLS certification required within 90 days if not current.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork and prioritization.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle flow of work and duties with attention to patient needs.
• Assess patients visually and read/record charts.
• Communicate with patients and care team, including masked staff.
• Potential exposure to blood and infectious materials; follow safety protocols.
• Work under pressure to meet patient care needs; use patient movement equipment as needed.
• Assist with lifting up to 50 pounds in non-emergency transfers when applicable.
• Wear PPE (N95/PAPR) as required.
• Stand, walk, sit, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
