Job summary

Corewell Health's Pennock Hospital in Hastings, MI, is seeking a Nursing Technician for the Emergency Center. This role supports RN and providers with vitals, wound care, and patient comfort in a fast-paced setting, including postmortem care as needed.

Part-time night shift, 24 hours per week, shift 7:00 pm–7:30 am, variable days, every third weekend. Requires HS diploma and BLS; strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CRT-BLS (BLS) - AHA 90 Days required.

Responsibilities

• Taking vital signs and monitoring clinical status.
• Checking blood sugar as ordered.
• Providing wound care and bedside activities (bathing, toileting, ambulation).
• Assisting with catheterization and safety of patients.
• Postmortem care as needed.
