Job summary

Christian Hospital, part of BJC HealthCare, is seeking a qualified CNA to provide direct patient care under licensed nursing supervision. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, and help ensure a safe, healing environment for patients.

You will collect clinical data, report changes, and participate in patient and family education while maintaining proper documentation. This role supports a team committed to high-quality care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• Certification as a Nurse Assistant is preferred/required.
• No prior clinical experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under nurse supervision.
• Administers ADLs, takes vital signs, intake/output, and monitors safety.
• Collects patient data and reports changes to the nurse.
• Assists with patient/family education and documents care activities.
• Ensures supplies and equipment are available for patient care.
