Job summary

Bronson Healthcare seeks a part-time Patient Representative for the BMH Emergency Department. You will greet patients, verify eligibility, collect payments, and schedule appointments while upholding HIPAA and patient confidentiality. This role supports fast-paced operations and requires attention to detail and strong customer service.

Experience in healthcare billing and knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 is preferred. The shift is 12-hour days, with 24 scheduled hours weekly in Kalamazoo, MI.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Medical Terminology, CPT and ICD-10 coding strongly preferred.
• Basic typing at 45 WPM, basic ten key, and Windows proficiency.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality requirements.
