Job summary

Green Bay ER & Hospital is seeking a Part-time Patient Services Representative for night shifts. The PAR ensures smooth check-in/check-out, accurate patient data capture, and billing sign-offs, while upholding privacy and safety standards in a busy ER environment.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and experience with EMR systems; prior hospital or ER patient access experience is preferred. You’ll work as part of a dedicated team delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Patient Access Representative role within a Hospital, ER, or Clinic.
• Previous experience in medical registration, admitting, and scheduling in an ER setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Front Desk Operations: Greet patients, collect demographics, verify signatures for billing accuracy, manage phone inquiries, and maintain logs.
• Financial Responsibilities: Collect payments for co-pays, reconcile accounts, and maintain a financial ledger.
• Facility Cleanliness: Assist in keeping patient areas and restrooms clean.
• Communication: Interact courteously with patients, families, physicians, and staff, upholding core values.
• Professional Development: Attend monthly staff meetings and engage in improvement activities.
• Other Duties: Assist management with additional tasks or projects as assigned.
