Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Patient Access Representative role within a Hospital, ER, or Clinic.
• Experience in medical registration, admitting, and scheduling in an ER setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and guests with a cheerful demeanor.
• Determine necessary services and direct patients accordingly.
• Collect demographics and signatures for billing accuracy.
• Maintain logs of patient information and handle phone inquiries professionally.
• Process payments for co-pays and account balances.
• Maintain an orderly, clean, and welcoming front desk area.
• Interact courteously with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
• Attend monthly staff meetings and engage in performance improvement activities.
• Assist management with additional tasks or projects as assigned.
