Job summary

The Patient Services Representative (PSR) at Little Rock Hospital 1, LLC Cabot supports the Emergency Center by welcoming patients, collecting demographics, and directing services to meet urgent needs. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential to maintain patient confidentiality and safety.

This role also handles front desk operations, processes co-pays, reconciles accounts, and helps keep the facility clean and welcoming.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a PSR in a Hospital, ER, or Clinic.
• Experience with medical registration, admitting, and scheduling in ER preferred.

Responsibilities

• Front Desk Operations: greet patients, collect demographics, direct services, manage phone inquiries, sign billing documents.
• Financial Responsibilities: collect co-pays and reconcile patient accounts.
• Facility cleanliness: maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
• Communication: interact courteously with patients, families, physicians and staff.
• Professional Development: attend monthly staff meetings and participate in improvement activities.
• Other Duties: assist management with tasks or projects as assigned.
