Job summary

Summa Health System is seeking a Paramedic/EMT to provide critical support in the Emergency Department, working 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on a 36-hour weekly schedule at the Akron Campus. The role supports physicians, nurses, and respiratory therapists in triage, stabilization, and transport of patients, ensuring timely and safe patient care.

Required are Ohio EMS-paramedic education and current state certification, with at least one year of EMT field experience in the last five years.

Qualifications

• Paramedic education approved by Ohio Department of Public Safety and current Ohio certification.
• One year of field EMT experience within the past five years, part-time or full-time.
• Current BLS-HCP and ACLS certifications; PALS may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities
