University Hospitals in Willoughby, OH is seeking a skilled paramedic to assist clinicians in the Emergency Department. You will perform 12-lead EKGs, blood draws, IV access, bedside point-of-care testing, and other delegated basic procedures as directed.

You will ensure quality controls, conduct defibrillator and refrigerator checks, and help prepare patients and environments for exams. Strong communication and knowledge of medical terminology are essential.

Qualificações

• Paramedic license and Ohio certification are required.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications must be current.
• Experience aligning with Level II or III expectations preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist during ED visits with EKGs, blood draws, IV access, and bedside tests.
• Prepare patients and exam area; transport supplies; perform routine basic procedures.
• Maintain PHI security, follow UH policies, and support clinical teams.
