Job summary

HCA Florida Kendall Hospital in Miami, FL seeks a skilled Paramedic to assist in the Emergency Department under RN supervision. You will provide emergency care, support Advanced Life Support, maintain patient safety, and communicate updates to the ED team.

Qualifications

• Current Florida paramedic license or EMP
• Graduate from accredited paramedic program
• ACLS/BLS/PALS and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 30 days of start date

Responsibilities

• Assist in the ED with patient care under RN supervision
• Perform emergency care procedures and support ALS under physician direction
• Maintain patient safety and up-to-date knowledge/skills
• Communicate patient status to ED nursing staff and physicians
• Recognize and report signs of withdrawal or abuse as appropriate
