Job summary

Qualifications

• Successfully completed a Paramedic program.
• Current Florida PMD Paramedic certification renewed every 2 years.
• Maintains BLS/Healthcare Provider cert.
• Maintains ACLS certification.
• If appropriate, obtain PALS certification within one year of hire.
• Have 2 Years as a Paramedic in the ED Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient care with advanced skills in ED/CCU/Respiratory as directed by Medical Director.
• Communicates patient condition to RN/RT/ED or CC providers and documents findings.
• Maintains patient safety, infection control and handling of hazardous materials.
• Supports timely admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Maintains regular attendance and compliance with Orlando Health policies.
