Qualifikationen

• Associate degree in Nursing is required.
• RN license valid in the state of residence; Multi-State/Compact license required or obtain Compact license within 30 days.
• American Heart Association BLS CPR required, must be obtained within 7 days of hire.
• CPI certification with orientation period.
• Other unit-specific certifications may be required within orientation period.

Aufgaben

• Ensures continuous safe operation of the ER department including patient care, staffing, fiscal responsibility and unit goals.
• Leads implementation, supervision, and evaluation of safe patient care while promoting a safe environment.
• Maintains clinical and professional competency appropriate to ages and needs of the population.
• Promotes Service Excellence behavior at all times.
• Delegates shift duties, manages chart checks, logs, lab follow-ups, and room readiness.
• Performs related duties as required.
