Job summary

Tenet AZ seeks an experienced Nursing Manager (RN) for the ER to lead operational and clinical performance across Carondelet St Raphael's and St Jospeh's Emergency Departments. You will ensure high-quality patient care, mentor staff, and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities include direct nursing care as needed, supervisory duties, budget oversight, staffing, HR policy implementation, and coaching to achieve productivity targets while controlling expenses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Nursing or related field; active Arizona RN license.
• 3 years of related experience; minimum 1 year supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of team building, systems thinking, problem solving, data analysis, coaching, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care as required by patient demand in accordance with policies.
• Cover Clinical Lead position as needed.
• Provide financial review of administrative reports, benchmarking graphs, and business plans.
• Meet productivity targets and control expenses.
• Oversee budgets and capital for department.
• Forecast budgeting needs and participate in budget development.
• Review department compensation and HR policies; manage staff changes.
• Provide leadership and set expectations for subordinates and Clinical Nurse Leaders.
• Develop staff competencies and provide information for staff positions.
• Provide performance coaching that may include improvement plans or corrective action.
