Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. seeks a Lead Registered Nurse / Nurse Manager for the Emergency Room to assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care. You will act as a resource for staff and Hospital Administrator, providing orientation, staffing oversight, audits, and process improvements to drive high quality care.

The role requires RN licensure, 5+ years nursing, and 2+ years in ED/CCU/PCU with supervisory experience. Travel to facilities is expected, with a focus on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; BSN preferred.
• 5+ years total nursing experience, required.
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions, required.
• 2+ years ED/CCU/PCU in an acute care hospital, required.
• 2+ years supervisory experience in a healthcare setting, preferred.
• Knowledge of JCAHO or DNV standards, required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, required.
• ICS-100/ICS-200/ICS-700/ICS-800 within 60 days of hire.
• Fluency in English, written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing, lab, radiology, pharmacy, respiratory, front office and dietary functions.
• Participate in Administrator on Call rotation for after-hours support.
• Develop and manage RN/LVN/PCA staffing schedules to ensure coverage.
• Provide shift coverage to maintain continuous patient care.
• Support leadership during licensing inspections and accrediting visits.
• Monitor quality indicators and help develop corrective action plans.
• Travel to multiple facility locations as required.
• Assist with orientation, education, and staff development.
