Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Nursing Manager for the St. David’s Emergency Center - Anderson Mill team in Austin, TX. This role leads daily unit operations, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care while upholding standards and regulations.

You will drive staff development, coordinate interdisciplinary care, and focus on improving patient experiences and outcomes with evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• BSN required for leadership role in nursing.
• Current registered nurse license in TX or valid compact license.
• Specialty certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily unit/department operations to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Ensure adherence to established policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Lead and develop staff; promote accountability and transparent care.
• Monitor admissions/discharges for efficient throughput and outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and other leaders to coordinate interdisciplinary care.
• Strive to elevate the patient experience and satisfaction across the unit.
