Job summary

UF Health in Jacksonville seeks an experienced Clinical Manager to lead non-physician clinical staff in the ER setting. You will partner with the Program Director and Hospital Leadership to deliver high-quality patient care and efficient operations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of ER nursing experience and at least 2 years in management or charge nurse roles. ADN or BSN is required, with BSN strongly preferred for some hospital partners. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• RN with ER experience (5+ years)
• 2+ years in management or charge nurse in ER
• BSN preferred or required with some hospital partners

Responsibilities

• Lead non-physician clinical staff in cooperation with Program Director and Hospital Partner
• Recruit and onboard clinical staff with Hospital
• Provide ongoing training and education for clinical staff
• Coordinate with Hospital and leadership to ensure patient satisfaction
• Schedule clinical staff and manage evaluations
• Support quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
• Produce quarterly site performance reporting
• Act as cultural champion for non-physician staff
• Participate in regulatory and accreditation readiness
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
