Job summary

UF Health Jacksonville is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ED Flex to provide nursing care in the ED/Urgent Care setting. The role includes performing staff nurse duties and serving as charge nurse when assigned, with accountability for patient care based on age and development.

Required: Associate's degree in nursing and FL RN licensure or multi-state license via eNLC; BLS and ACLS; PALS/NRP within six months of hire if applicable; 2+ years in ER/ICU preferred, BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's degree in Nursing.
• BSN preferred; new BSN within 3 years of hire.
• Current RN licensure in Florida or eNLC with Florida licensure within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care as per the nursing process and standards of practice.
• Perform staff nurse duties and act as charge nurse when assigned.
• Ensure care for patients across Urgent Care and/or Emergency Departments; assign tasks appropriately by patient age and development.
