Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Emergency Department care, from newborns to geriatrics. The role emphasizes triage, medication administration, ECG monitoring, and rapid response to critical events.

Required AS degree and RN license; one year of acute care experience. Certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS) and TNCC are expected, with TNCC due within 6 months of hire or transfer.

Qualifications

• AS degree or equivalent required
• BSN preferred but not required
• Minimum one year of acute care experience

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate triage and notify ED MD of abnormal signs
• Review and complete patient orders promptly
• Provide medication side effects teaching and include in discharge instructions
• Recognize cardiac/respiratory distress and respond accordingly
• Provide nursing interventions in stable and emergent situations
• Interpret ECG rhythm and manage life-threatening events
• Document care and patient responses in a timely manner
• Coordinate with inpatient units for ED admissions
• Perform unit safety and quality checks
