Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The role provides rapid triage, assessment, and nursing care for patients with acute illnesses and injuries, prioritizing based on acuity and collaborating with the ED team to stabilize and treat patients efficiently.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license, an active BLS/ACLS/PALS, and a nursing degree, with 1–2 years of emergency or critical care experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold an RN license in state of practice
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• TNCC and CEN certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs rapid triage and assessment of patients presenting to the emergency department.
• Administers medications, IV fluids, and treatments based on physician orders and protocols.
• Responds to trauma activations, codes, and other emergent situations.
• Monitors patients for changes in condition and escalates care as needed.
• Coordinates patient flow, admissions, transfers, and discharges in a fast-paced environment.
• Provides patient and family education and emotional support during acute events.
