Job summary

OU Health is seeking an Experienced RN for the Yukon Emergency Department on a PRN weekend days schedule. The role involves providing high-quality inpatient care, documenting patient responses, and administering medications under physician supervision.

The RN will collaborate with clinicians, adhere to OU Health values, and participate in ongoing professional development to maintain licensure and certification.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• 1+ years of patient care as an RN.
• Current RN license (OK Board or multi-state compact).
• BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Aligns with OU Health values and nursing practice standards.
• Assumes responsibility for an assigned patient or group of patients.
• Documents patient responses and notes changes in physician orders.
• Administers medications as prescribed and manages IVs/blood products.
• Delivers safe, competent patient care and resolves complaints.
• Informs patients/families of procedures and care plans.
