Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a registered nurse to provide high-quality patient care on the Medical Surgical unit. You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and educate patients and families while documenting care accurately in the EMR.

The role requires adherence to hospital policies, timely admissions, and collaborative teamwork with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN degree required and Missouri RN licensure.
• BSN preferred or higher.
• Experience with EMR documentation and hospital policies.

Responsibilities

• Performs admission assessments within four hours of arrival to the Medical Surgical unit.
• Develops and updates individualized care plans with each admission and when condition changes.
• Delivers patient education and family instruction using the AIDET model.
• Ensures accurate documentation of care, medications, and education in EMAR and charting.
