Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; associate degree or diploma.
• License – Current New Mexico License required or RN License with Multistate Compact privileges.
• Certification – BLS required. ACLS, PALS, NRP required or within 90 days of employment. TNCC required or within 1 year of employment and ENPC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process by demonstrating assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care.
• Teach patient and significant others appropriate health information in a timely manner.
• Perform direct patient care following established policies and standards.
• Assist in orientation/training of new employees and support staff.
• Respond to rapidly changing patient care needs and assist providers as needed.
