Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. seeks an ER registered nurse for Northwest McCarran. This per diem position supports 24/7 operations, triage, and rapid assessment in a busy ED with advanced imaging and lab services.

Ideal candidates hold an NV RN license with 2–3 years in emergency or critical care, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and EMS background. Perks include comprehensive medical plans, 401(k) and tuition reimbursement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current NV RN License.
• Two to three years experience in the emergency department preferred OR.
• Two to three years critical care experience OR.
• Extensive EMS background experience.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Current ACLS Certification (within 6 months of hire).
• Current PALS Certification (within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes and adjusts nursing care to ensure optimal patient care.
• Performs head-to-toe assessments for diverse age groups and reassessments per policy.
• Uses triage process to ensure timely and appropriate care and communicates changes with ED physicians.
