Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking an Emergency Room RN for a per diem position at Dallas Medical Center in Farmers Branch, TX. The ER RN provides rapid and skilled emergency care to patients in the ED.

Responsibilities include triage, direct patient care, stabilization, and education for patients and families in a fast-paced environment with ACLS/PALS involvement and trauma support as needed.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC within 30 days of hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients on arrival to determine severity and triage appropriately.
• Administer medications, perform procedures such as wound care or splinting, monitor vitals, manage pain.
