Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a midnight shift (36 hours per week). You will lead nursing care coordination and patient-centered services in a high-acuity setting near Macomb County.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, communicate with the health care team, and support patients and families. Required licensure and BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and their families.
• Communicate pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team.
• Participate in finding and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals.
