Henry Ford Health in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a 36-hour midnight shift. Sign-on bonus eligible up to $7,500. Schedule includes three 12-hour nights per week with rotating weekends and holidays.
The nurse will lead nursing care using assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, and collaborate with the health care team. BSN preferred; must have current Michigan RN license and BCLS certification. IBCLC may be required within 12 months of hire.

General Summary
Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - 36 Hours - Midnight Shift

Schedule:3 12-hour shifts per week 7pm-7:30am; Rotating weekends and holidays.
Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: BSN preferred. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. Health care provider certification (BCLS). RN Lactation Consultant: IBCLC certification must be acquired within 12 months of hire & maintained.
