Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a 36-hour Midnight Shift (3 x 12-hour shifts, 7pm–7:30am) with rotating weekends and holidays. Sign-on bonus eligible up to $7,500 for full-time nights.

The nurse will provide leadership in coordinating patient care, using the nursing process, and communicating with patients, families, and the health care team. BSN preferred; Michigan RN licensure and BCLS required; IBCLC certification must be obtained

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing; Health care provider certification (BCLS) and IBCLC path if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering quality patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Effectively communicate pertinent patient/family information to the health care team.
