Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a 36-hour midnight shift. Sign-on bonus eligible up to $7,500. Schedule includes three 12-hour nights per week with rotating weekends and holidays.

The nurse will lead nursing care using assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, and collaborate with the health care team. BSN preferred; must have current Michigan RN license and BCLS certification. IBCLC may be required within 12 months of hire.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Michigan required or eligible
• BSN preferred; diploma acceptable with experience
• Current BCLS certification required
• RN Lactation Consultant IBCLC certification must be acquired within 12 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering quality nursing care in ED
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Communicate with healthcare team and patients/families
• Assist in maintaining timely, accurate documentation
