Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Observation Unit on a 24 hours per week Midnight Shift. You will lead nursing care, apply the nursing process, and collaborate with the health care team to deliver safe, compassionate patient care.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, BSN preferred, and current licensure with the Michigan State Board. Strong communication and clinical analytical skills are essential to support hospital operations

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
BSN preferred.
Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Responsibilities

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
