Job summary

LVN Neighborhood Hospital – Pocono Creek is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time night shifts in the Emergency Department. This float position requires providing comprehensive nursing care, assessing patients, and coordinating with the ED team to ensure safe transitions of care.

The role emphasizes clinical competency, collaboration with physicians, patient education, and participation in quality improvement initiatives. A PA RN license and BLS are required, with ED experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Nursing program.
• Current RN license in PA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to organize and prioritize assignments in patient care.
• Experience in Emergency Department or float role preferred.
• Attainment and maintenance of unit-specific competencies.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for designated patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to resolve patient needs.
• Provide patient and family education throughout treatment.
