Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Lake Pointe in Rowlett, TX, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The role covers pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients with a patient ratio of 1:4-5 and a full-time night shift.

Required is a minimum of 2 years of recent ED RN experience and an active RN license. The unit operates as a Level 3 trauma center with Chest Pain and Stroke designations, handling about 100 patients daily and 20–30 EMS arrivals per day.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of true, recent Emergency Department RN experience.
• RN License required for employment.
• BLS or obtain within 30 days of hire/transfer.
• TNCC or obtain within 18 months of hire/transfer.
• ENPC or obtain within 18 months of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department for pediatric, adult and geriatric populations.
• Collaborate with trauma and ED teams to ensure rapid assessment and treatment.
• Monitor, triage, and reassess patients to maintain target care standards.
• Support continuity of care and patient safety across shifts.
