Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for the Evening Shift. This fast-paced ED cares for adult and occasional pediatric patients and operates as a Level I Trauma Center with a multidisciplinary team.

You will perform thorough patient assessments, develop care plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with physicians, APNs, social workers, and support staff to ensure timely, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program.
• RN licensed in Texas or eligible.
• BLS certification required or within 30 days of start.
• Minimum 1 year ER RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive RN assessments and develop care plans.
• Prioritize patient and family needs and coordinate with the team.
• Deliver emergency stabilization and timely interventions.
• Educate patients and families to promote understanding and outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, APNs, social workers, and registration staff to optimize patient flow.
