Job summary

Progeny HR Solutions LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department (RN - ER) for full-time night or evening shifts. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ED environment and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include assessing and monitoring patients, documenting care, coordinating admissions/discharges, and educating patients and families. Required ER experience and ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications with a 30-day window.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Acute Care ER experience required.
• ACLS within 30 days of start date.
• BLS within 30 days of start date.
• PALS within 30 days of start date.
• If a candidate has 3 or more years of RN experience and has a compact license, they still need to apply for the FL license.
• If candidate has less than 3 years RN experience, they will need to take the NCLEX in FL.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care and compassionate service.
• Comply with policies; uphold mission and values.
• Provide emotional and family support.
• Record vital signs and medications; monitor patient conditions.
• Modify treatment plans as needed and coordinate with care team.
• Review diagnostics and evaluate patient conditions.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and self-care.
• Document care events and maintain records.
• Ensure equipment operation and maintenance.
• Coordinate admissions and discharge planning.
• Instruct on health education and prevention.
• Engage in infection control programs.
• Provide training to auxiliary personnel or students.
• Participate in nursing research.
