Job summary

Progeny Human Resource Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Palatka, FL. This full-time night/evening role focuses on delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, monitor patient conditions, document care, and participate in discharge planning and education. The ideal candidate has 1 year ER/acute care experience, current BLS/ACLS/PALS credentials or plans to obtain them

Qualifications

• 1 year of Acute Care ER experience Required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• If a candidate has 3 or more years of experience as an RN and if they have their compact license (They'll still need to apply for the FL license) we can consider and move forward.
• If a candidate has less than 3 years of RN experience, they'll need to take the NCLEX in FL and once they pass we can consider (This is if candidates do not have a FL RN License)
• Associate Degree

Responsibilities

• Deliver consistent patient care with empathy and teamwork across patients, families, and staff.
• Support mission, policies, and standards set by the organization.
• Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families.
• Document patient data, vital signs, and treatments accurately.
• Coordinate with the health care team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Assist with admissions, discharge planning, and patient education.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and up to date as per protocols.
• Engage in infection control and training of personnel as needed.
• Contribute to quality improvement and research activities in nursing.
