Job summary

Corewell Health’s Emergency Center - Trenton Hospital is seeking an experienced RN to provide professional nursing care in a Level II trauma setting, emphasizing patient-family centered care and collaboration with the nursing staff. The role reports to the Nurse Leader and serves in an evening shift.

You will apply the ANA nursing process, document education, and support outcomes with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing required.
• BSN within 5 years if new graduate/new nurse with less than one year experience.
• Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or two years in a licensed health care role and must pass NCLEX.
• Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• BLS required upon hire/transfer; ACLS within 6 months; TNCC within 1 year; ENPC within 15 months.
• Specialty certification highly recommended within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care per ANA scope of practice and patient-family centered care.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patient care.
• Collaborate with Nurse Leader and multidisciplinary staff to optimize patient outcomes; document education in health records.
