Corewell Health's Taylor Hospital Emergency Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for Night shift to provide high-quality patient care in a Level IV trauma setting. You will apply the nursing process, collaborate with the care team, and educate patients and families.

MI RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC as required by the role will be expected within stated timelines. The RN will work under the Nurse Leader, delivering patient-family centered care, documenting education, and participating

Qualifications

• RN licensure and nursing degree requirements as stated in the job post.
• State RN licensure (MI) required, with additional certifications as specified.
• Presence of BLS/ACLS/TNCC/ENPC credentials within specified timelines.
• Opportunity for new graduates per organizational policy.

Responsabilités

• Provide professional nursing care within ANA scope using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with Nurse Leader and care teams to plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patient care.
• Educate patients and families, and document education in the health record.

Formation

Associates or Diploma in Nursing Required

Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years if new graduate/nurse with less than one (1) year experience

Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or at least two years of experience in a licensed health care role and must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure examination

MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required

Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire/transfer from one of the following organizations - American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Canadian Heart and Stroke

ACLS within 6 months of hire/transfer

TNCC within 1 year of hire/transfer

ENPC within 15 months of hire/transfer

Specialty Certification highly recommended within 2 years

Prefer RN experience
