Job summary

Corewell Health's Dearborn Hospital in Dearborn, MI, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Center. The ED is a Level II trauma unit with an Evening shift (11:00 a.m. – 11:30 p.m.) and 36 hours per week. The RN will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patients.

Qualifications

• RN requires Associates or Diploma in Nursing.
• Bachelor's in Nursing must be completed within 5 years for new graduates.
• NCLEX licensure required for non-accredited nursing grads.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC certifications as per hire timelines.
• Specialty certification encouraged within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process from assessment to discharge.
• Partner with patients and families to develop and educate care plans.
• Document education and outcomes in the health record per Corewell Health policies.

Skills

BLS Certification

ACLS within 6 months

TNCC within 1 year

ENPC within 15 months

Graduate nurse considered

Education
