Job summary

Henry Ford Jackson Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department in south central Michigan. You will lead care coordination for a diverse patient population in a Level II Trauma setting.

The role emphasizes nursing leadership, strong communication with families, and collaboration with physicians and staff. Current Michigan RN licensure and BSN progression or completion within stated timelines are required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Enrollment in a BSN program within 3 years of hire.
• Completion of a BSN within 5 years of hire.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to plan and deliver care.
• Ability to communicate with patients, families and hospital personnel.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination and delivery of quality patient care in ED.
• Apply nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate) and teach patients/families.
• Communicate pertinent information to the health care team and participate in problem solving.
