Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit seeks a full-time trauma unit nurse to lead coordination and delivery of compassionate patient care on 2 East Trauma Surgery. Shifts are 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (three 12-hour shifts/week) with rotating weekends and holidays.

Requirements include BSN preferred, Michigan RN licensure, BLS within 30 days, and ACLS/trauma experience a plus. Join a dedicated team focused on high-quality care in a Level 1 Trauma Center.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire or transfer date.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in coordination and delivery of quality patient care.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Communicates pertinent patient information to health care team.
• Participates in solutions for variances from patient goals and implements them.
