Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse in Texas to manage nursing care for patients admitted or treated for medical conditions or surgical procedures. You will provide professional leadership and guide the nursing team in alignment with facility policies and patient-centered care.

The role requires active Texas RN licensure, a nursing degree (BSN preferred), and current BLS. ACLS or other unit-specific certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license or compact state license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
• Current BLS certification; ACLS if required by unit.
• APLN/ARC/AHA certifications may be required for specific units.
• New graduates may provide documentation from RN program per requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing care for patients admitted or seen for medical or surgical care.
• Assess, plan, guide and evaluate nursing care in line with policies and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Interact with hospital staff and ancillary departments to address concerns and resolutions.
• May work weekends, holidays, evenings, nights, or be on call as needed.
