Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in acute care setting preferred: 1 year full-time or 3 years part-time.
• Commitment to Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
• RN license in TX or compact state; BSN preferred; temporary TX license allowed if needed.
• Must have and maintain BLS; ACLS or ARC/AHA certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients admitted or seen for medical conditions or surgery.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversee and guide nursing staff under supervision.
• Coordinate with hospital staff and ancillary departments on care and resolutions.
• May require weekends, holidays, evenings, nights, and/or on-call status.
