Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking an RN to manage patients and provide professional nursing leadership in line with facility policies and patient-centered care principles.

The role requires Texas RN licensure (or compact state), a nursing degree, and current BLS; ACLS/other ARC/AHA certifications as required by the unit may be needed. Weekend/evening shifts are possible, with a focus on service excellence.

Qualifications

• Texas RN license (or compact state) or temporary TX license
• Bachelor/Associate/Diploma in Nursing
• Current BLS certification
• ARC/AHA certifications as required (ACLS, CPR)

Responsibilities

• Manage patients admitted or seen for medical conditions or surgical procedures; provide professional nurse leadership and guidance.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care following facility policies and nursing standards.
• Provide patient-centered care and coordinate with healthcare team; interact with hospital staff and ancillary departments as needed.
• May work weekends, holidays, evenings, nights, and/or on-call status; uphold Service Excellence standards at all times.

Education

Registered Nurse license in Texas

Associate Degree, Baccalaureate Degree or Diploma in Nursing

BSN preferred

BLS certification
