Job summary

Oro Valley Hospital is seeking an experienced RN Charge for the Free-Standing Marana Emergency Department. The role leads unit operations, supervises staff, coordinates care with physicians and teams, and ensures regulatory compliance during night shifts.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in ED nursing, active RN licensure, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS, with NRP preferred. A strong focus on patient care, teamwork, and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of RN Emergency Department experience required.
• Current state RN licensure is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), ACLS, and PALS certifications required; NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing unit operations during assigned shifts.
• Supervise nursing staff and coordinate patient care with teams.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
• Maintain effective communication among physicians, patients, and staff.
• Monitor patient flow, bed assignments, and resource use.
• Lead infection prevention efforts and quality improvement initiatives.
