HCA Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Free Standing Emergency Room in Houston. The RN will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers and the care team.

The role emphasizes advocacy, education, and adherence to established nursing models to improve patient outcomes and departmental performance. Qualified candidates will have ACLS/BCLS/PALS within 30 days, an RN license, and a nursing degree (ADN or BSN).

Formación

• ACLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• BCLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN licensed as a Registered Nurse.
• Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• 2+ years ER or FSED experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Assesses patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management and reassessments after interventions.
• Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record promptly and thoroughly.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and anticipates needs to resolve issues.
• Teaches patients, families, and caregivers about medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures.
• Educates patients and families on non-medicinal follow-up measures and prepares for future self-management.
