Job summary

HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care within a dynamic team. You will collaborate with physicians and staff to meet department standards and enhance patient outcomes at this ACS Level I trauma center.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• ENPC must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• NRP must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• PALS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Florida RN license (or approved multistate license) required; compact license holders have 60 days to obtain Florida license after relocation

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with department requirements
• Collaborates with medical providers and care team to provide individualized, comprehensive care
• Advocates for patients/families/caregivers and supports organization vision and values
• Assesses patient pain regularly and promotes effective pain management
• Documents administration of care in patient medical record in timely and thorough manner
• Responds promptly to patient requests and anticipates needs
• Educates patients/families/caregivers about condition, treatment plan, medications, and follow-up measures
• Educates about non-medicinal follow-up measures; prepares for future self-management

Education

Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
