Job summary

HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. You will work with medical providers to implement comprehensive plans, teach patients and families about conditions and treatments, and document care meticulously in the chart.

You will ensure safety and compassionate care across the unit. Required certifications include ACLS, BCLS, ENPC, NRP, and PALS with a Florida RN license; other requirements

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ENPC must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• NRP must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• PALS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and care teams.
• Promotes effective pain management and documents care in the medical record in a timely manner.
• Responds promptly to patient needs and provides education to patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up.
• Ensures safety, advocacy, and quality outcomes in alignment with organizational standards and state regulations.
