HCA Florida Westside Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The RN coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers and care teams.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN licensure as Registered Nurse required.
• Must have 1 year of acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient pain regularly and promotes effective pain management.
• Performs procedures and documents care in the medical record.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and proactively resolves issues.
• Educates patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up.
• Instructs on post-discharge care, lifestyle changes, and self-management.
