Job summary

SEARHC is hiring an Emergency Department Registered Nurse in Sitka, Alaska. The RN provides rapid assessment, stabilization, and treatment in a high-acuity setting, collaborating with the care team to promote safe, patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing from accredited program.
• Active Alaska RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP certifications required.
• ENPC preferred.
• Competence within 3 months and high-risk competency annually.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive patient assessments and develops plans of care.
• Administers medications and treatments per orders and policy.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Documents assessments and outcomes in the electronic health record.
• Maintains patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
