Qualifications

• BSN preferred
• 1 year of related nursing experience preferred
• ACLS/PALS/TNCC required
• BLS required

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Administers medications and treatments; monitors for side effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Addresses psychosocial, cultural, and emotional needs of patients and families within scope of practice.
• Provides patient and caregiver education and identifies learning needs and resources.
• Delegates tasks to other care providers to manage clinical situations.
