Job summary

The role requires a BSN preferred, at least 1 year of nursing experience, current RN license (state or compact), and BLS; ACLS/PALS/TNCC are required. You will document thoroughly, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
• Current RN license in state of employment or compact.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Addresses increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patient and families.
• Administers medications and treatments; monitors for side-effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.
• Educates patients, family members and/or care givers; identify issues and resources.
